Some of Our Favourite Pics...

The Kiwanis Pavilion completed.

The Kiwanis Pavilion is now a reality. The final landscaping was completed in July of 2005 and it was open for the Kempenfest weekend. It was a long time in the making but our 80th anniversary project is finally completed. It is a well constructed structure and should last the community for many years to come.

Kiwanis Build Pavilion

The Kiwanis Club of Barrie is building a pavilion along the city's lakeshore and it is scheduled for completion by Christmas.  The $150,000 structure will be located halfway between the Tiffin Street boat launch and the South Shore Community Centre.  This group of Kiwanians was on hand for the ground-breaking ceremony.

Earl Forbes – Club Development Manager for Kiwania International spent the evening with us. It was our pleasure to have him visit our club on April 3, 2006
We wish to express our thanks to all those individuals and businesses who gave to this very worthwhile cause. We had hoped to raise $63,360 this year but fell short. It was our first run at the Loonie Mile. We feel we learned how we can do things better and look forward to next year when we can again look to you for support in helping those children who suffer from cancer. Again, we thank you.
